What To Expect
Begin your adventure in Arenal where the famous volcano rises from the jungle and provides an almost prehistoric feel to the landscape. Your hotel here is the luxurious Spring resort and spa where the rich and famous like to stay.
Day 1: Arrive in the San Jose at the Airport we will pick you up and take you dirrectly to the Sleep Inn Hotel, where you will stay the night. You are free to explore on your own for the rest of the day.
Day 2: San Jose – La Fortuna (B, L) Meet your group for breakfast at 6:30 a.m., and then depart San Jose for Poas Volcano National Park (entrance fee included). Then, continue to the popular La Paz Waterfall Gardens and tour the beautiful falls, a butterfly garden, and a wild cat sanctuary, before heading to Cosa Rica’s Northern Plains. Check in at the top-rated Mountain Paradise Hotel, where you can access a swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, and restaurants.
Dya 3: ( B ,L ) From Arenal a private transfer will take you to Guanacaste. Set on a hill, the resort’s design is inspired by the local flora and fauna of the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica, yet has a fresh, modern feel. Day 4: Gold Coast – Monteverde (B, L) Return to the mountains to visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest, considered one of the most important cloud forests in the world for its abundant diversity. Traverse the cloud forest canopy on board a series of hanging bridges, take a tram through the trees, and walk on a nature path through the forest. Spend the remainder of the day exploring the village of Monteverde, a quiet mountain town with Quaker roots, or enjoying the restaurants, swimming pools, soccer field, tennis court, and spa at your hotel.
Day 5: Monteverde – Hermosa Beach (B,L) Head back toward the coast, stopping at the Tarcoles River Bridge to spot wild crocodiles, before arriving at Manuel Antonio National Park. Take a guided hike of the park, known for its rich biodiversity and untouched beaches. Then, check-in at the Tramonto Hotel or equivalent beachfront accommodation at Playa Hermosa. Spend the evening at leisure.
Day 5:Gold Coast (B,L) Lounge at the pool or relax on the beach, which boasts calm waters and a view of Isla Chora. Activities available for purchase likely to include surf lessons, dolphin-watching tours, snorkeling, and ocean kayaking.
DaY 6: Relax at the resort all day
Day 7: Hermosa Beach – San Jose (B)
After breakfast, leave the hotel at 7 a.m. for the San Jose International Airport.
